This mixture has produced very heavy yields of high quality silage over the past few years. A 2 YEAR LEY, which needs to be worked hard to get the best out of it, sown in spring as soon as soil conditions are right, it should be ready for 1st cut in about 12 weeks. To ensure good quality and high sugars the second cut should be taken 5 weeks later with a possible 3rd cut 5 weeks after that.

Optimum spring growth is achieved by sowing TWO PLUS in late summer or early autumn and ensuring that the ley goes into winter tightly grazed down.
